You must register your horse if you wish to compete in Graded Endurance Rides (GERs) and Competitive Endurance Rides (CERs).

You can register a horse by post, or online through the EGB website. If you wish to register your horse online, you must first join as a member to receive log in details. You will then be able to register a horse.

Once a horse is registered, it will receive a Logbook. This Logbook is unique to each horse. It will stay with the horse for its lifetime and records every Graded and Competitive Endurance Ride (GER and CER) in which your horse participates.

Your horse only requires one Logbook, regardless of which association (EGB - England and Wales, SERC - Scotland and ILDRA - Ireland) issued it and where you compete.

Every horse participating in any endurance ride must have a log book, except when competing as part of the Try Before You Buy Scheme.
